1120 hours – Box Alarm – Sharon between Mandale & W. Vernor – Fire reported in a dwelling at 1962 Sharon Street. Ladder 13 had smoke showing enroute. Engine 29 stretched on a fully involved dwelling on the 2nd floor. Engine 29 reported they had a second dwelling, requesting the power company. Chief 7 assumed incident command reporting fire in a 2 story dwelling, holding all companies. Chief 7 requested an additional company for manpower (Engine 34). 2 lines used for fire on both floors of a dwelling. 1 female was found unconscious in an upstairs bedroom and removed to the front yard where CPS was administered. The patient was transported in critical condition and passed away a few days later.
