10/29/16 – 1627 hours - 295 Elmhurst St (Highland Park) – Box Alarm, Elmhurst between Hamilton and Lincoln, Highland Park Engine 1, Engines 35, 39, Highland Park Ladder 1, Squad 5, Chief 5, Highland Park Chief 3. Reported dwelling fire at 295 Elmhurst. Highland Park Engine 1 on scene with smoke showing and stretching. Fire from the second floor rear, all occupants out. Chief 5 assumed incident command with a 2 story occupied dwelling, fire on the 2nd floor, requesting additional company (Engine 40). Quick knock down using a handline.
