7/24/23 - Detroit - Heyden St

1801 hours - Still Alarm - 15378 Heyden St, Engine 57 for a report of wires down. Just as Engine 57 was nearing the location, Central advised the dwelling was on fire, sending the box, power lines caught the dwelling on fire. Engine 57 on scene investigating, advised Central to pick up the box, and requested DTE to secure the scene, had power lines on a dwelling and they would be standing by. (Box was never put out by Central due to number of calls coming in due to storm passing thru the northwest section of the city). Engine 57 advised the wires down are setting the dwelling on fire and to send the box. Engines 42, 30, Ladder 25, Squad 5, Chief 2. Chief 4, Engine 53, and Squad 1 picked up from a commercial box alarm at Grand River and Chapel and took in the box. Engine 42 and Squad 5 placed in service. Engine 57 stretched on a 1.5 story, occupied, dwelling. Chief 4 had incident command. Squad 1 RIT/Chief 2 Safety.
