7/5/20 - Detroit - Gray St

0247 hours – Box Alarm – Gray between Goethe and Mack, fire reported in an occupied dwelling at 3529 Gray Street. Engines 32, 41, 52, Ladder 31, Squad 6, Chief 6. Engine 52 stretched. Chief 6 had fire in the upstairs of a 2 story dwelling and requested an extra company for RIT and manpower (Engines 58, 46). All occupants were reported to be out of the house and all searches clear. Interior crews requested the Dutchtown ladder to access the attic from the 2nd floor. Fire on the second floor that extended into the attic before being knocked down and brought under control at 0317 hours.
