0907 hours – Box Alarm, Newport and Hampshire, fire reported in a vacant dwelling, Central has no address. Engines 50, 58, 52, 46, Ladder 31, Squad 6, Chief 9. Engine 50 stretched. Chief 9 had fire in a 2 story dwelling, holding all companies. 1 line stretched, aggressive interior attack knock down the bulk of the fire down in 5 minutes with extensive overhaul. Fire under control at 0927 hours. 1 firefighter transported with minor burns.
