1/17/20 - Detroit - Ivanhoe St

1124 hours – Box Alarm, Ivanhoe between Beechwood & Ironwood, fire reported in a dwelling at 5039 Ivanhoe Street. Engines 39, 40, 17, 42, Ladder 22, Squad 2, Chief 2. Reported as fire from the fire place in the basement. Chief 2 on scene with smoke showing and reported a basement fire. Engine 42 stretched. Chief 2 requested another company for manpower (Engine 17) even though they were on the initial box. Chief 2 had fire in a 2 story flat holding all companies. Fire travelled up the walls to the first and second floor. Chief 2 requested an additional company for RIT (Engine 55).
