2100 hours - Box Alarm – 23rd & McGraw – Fire reported in a dwelling, no address. Engines 39,34,42, Ladder 22, Squad 4, Chief 5. Squad 4 on scene reporting first engine will be stretching, have the next arriving engine prepare to dump their monitor, they have 2 dwellings going, and request a 4th engine for manpower. Central advises they are sending the commercial box alarm which added Engine 17, Ladder 7, Squad 2, and Chief 7. Engine 39 on scene stretching on 2 dwellings. Chief 5 arrived, assumed command, advised that companies would be taking a defensive posture and picked up the commercial box with the exception of Engine 17 and Ladder 7.
