0137 hours - Box Alarm - Brinker and Grixdale, fire reported in a dwelling at 18577 Brinker Street between E. Grixdale and Robinwood. Engines 35, 40, 46, Ladder 17, Squad 3, Chiefs 8, 5. Ladder 18 and Squad 5 picked up from the commercial building on Seven Mile and took in the box. Ladder 17 and Squad 3 picked up and placed in service. Chief 8 on scene advising dwelling going throughout, assumed incident command, and advised companies would be taking a defensive posture. Engine 40 stretched. Engine 35 dumped their monitor. Story and a half, vacant dwelling.
