1621 hours - Box Alarm - Beniteau and Mack, fire reported in an occupied dwelling at 3454 Beniteau between Goethe & Mack. Engines 41, 32, 52, 46, Ladder 31, Squad 6, Chiefs 1, 6. Chief 6 approached the scene and advised the first engine would be stretching. Engine 41 stretched. Chief 6 had a working fire in a 2 story dwelling, holding all companies. Chief 6 advised he had a second dwelling involved and requested and additional company for manpower (Engine 9). Chief 1 Safety/Squad 6 RIT. Searches negative. Par 23+4. Six homeless. Dog is credited with saving a toddler, youngest of 4 children inside at the time, from the fire.
