1927 hours – Box Alarm – S. Ethel and W. Outer Drive, fire reported in a dwelling. Engine 48, 33, 29, Ladder 13, Squad 4, Chief 7. Engine 48 on scene investigating, then advised they had a fire and would be stretching. Chief 7 has fire in a single story dwelling at 26531 W. Outer Drive, holding all companies. Lincoln Park Engine 41 added to the box since this was near the Detroit/Lincoln Park border. Engine 34 filled in at Engine 48’s. Fire in the attic. At 2305 hours, companies went back to this location on a box alarm in which Engine 48 stretched but the fire was minor and the box was quickly scaled back.
