1207 hours – Box Alarm – E. Hollywood between Van Dyke and Veach, fire reported in a dwelling at 8097 E. Hollywood Street in the city’s 3rd Battalion. Engines 60, 56, 50, Ladder 23, Squad 6, Chief 3. Engine 60 had smoke showing enroute and stretched on a vacant dwelling. Chief 3 assumed command reporting a fire in a vacant, story and a half, dwelling. Ladder 23 safety officer, Squad 6 RIT.
