2340 hours – Box Alarm – Moran and Mt. Elliot, fire reported in a dwelling at 3693 E. Willis Street on the city’s east side. Engines 9, 41, 46, Ladder 6, Squad 3, Chief 1. Squad 3 on scene reported first engine would be stretching as they had a 2 story family dwelling going throughout and would be taking a defensive posture. Engine 41 stretched. Chief 1 advised of tower operations with Ladder 6. Engine 46 also stretched to supply the truck. Engine 9 dumped the monitor. Total structural collapse. Box sent later in the day for a rekindle in which the companies would be picked up.
