8/31/14 - Steelton, PA - S. 4th St

Around 1740 hours, Box 501 sent Company 50 (Steelton), Engine 41 (Bressler), Tower 1 (Harrisburg), and Rescue 40 (Paxtang) to a house fire at S. 4th and Primrose Streets. Responding companies were advised of PD on location with smoke from a house and a burn patient. With the info provided a first alarm assignment was dispatched. Engine 41 arrived with smoke showing from an occupied, single-family, dwelling at 333 S. 4th Street and secured a hydrant in front of the structure. A hand line was stretched through the front door and quickly knocked down a small fire. The box was quickly downgraded and units remained on the scene for a short period before going in service. One person was transported by EMS with burn injuries.
