1/7/14 - East Hempfield Township, PA - Bimini Dr

Company 23 (East Petersburg) and surrounding companies were summoned to Bimini Drive shortly before midnight for a dwelling fire. Crews arrived on location with a single story dwelling with heavy fire showing. An aggressive interior attack knocked down the bulk of the visible fire but the flames worked its way into the void space under the roof. Command requested additional tankers to the scene due to lack of hydrants in the area. Companies were removed from the interior and Truck 23 (East Petersburg) used its aerial stream to knock down the fire through the roof. Interior operations resumed and companies remained on the scene for over 2 hours on this bitterly cold evening.
