Around 1043 hours units were dispatched to 365 W. North Street in Carlisle Borough for a house fire. Engine 1-41 (Union-Carlisle) arrived to heavy fire showing from the first floor of an unoccupied, semi-attached, dwelling. As companies were gearing up for an interior attack Command requested the second alarm assignment. Multiple attack lines were stretched into the fire building and exposures. The fire extended to the second floor and attic area of the fire building and the attic of the exposure before the flames were extinguished. The fire went three alarms and battled by many central Cumberland County fire companies.
