5/5/13 - Baltimore City, MD - Pilgrim Rd

At 1355 hours Box Alarm 42-7 sounded for a reported dwelling fire at 4702 Pilgrim Road in northeast Baltimore. Engine 42 arrived and laid a supply to the front of the structure where a 1.5 story, vacant dwelling was going good in the rear. Truck 29 arrived and set up behind Engine 42 to prepare for ladder pipe operations. A second alarm was requested and companies went in service on an exterior attack. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 15 minutes and companies remained on the scene for an extended period of time mopping up.
