3/4/17 - Baltimore, MD - S. Bentalou St
At 0103 hours Box Alarm 14-70 sent Engines 14,36,30 (RIT),8,47, Trucks 8,10, Rescue 1, and Battalion Chiefs 3,6 to 332 S. Bentalou Street for the dwelling fire. Engine 14 on location with a 2 story, end of the group, with heavy fire showing. Crews made an initial attack through the front door. Battalion Chief 3 assumed command, reported a 2 story storefront approximately 100 feet long with fire through the roof and made this a working fire. Engine 55 and Truck 23 were added the box. Companies had a partial roof collapse of the 1 story, garage type, addition to the rear. Command evacuated the building and went in service with exterior operations. The bulk of fire was knocked down in about 25 minutes with extensive overhaul required.
