3/4/23 - Harrisburg, PA - Lexington St

At 2346 hours, Box 1-3 sent Wagon 3, Squad 8, Tower 1, Truck 2 and Battalion Chief 5 (Lloyd) to 2635 Lexington Street for a house fire. Responding companies were advised of conflicting reports, one indicating a house fire, the other an outside fire. Battalion Chief 5 Jason “J-Lo” Lloyd had a header from the State Street Bridge. Lt 1 Jeff “Skull” Miller acting as Captain 2 arrived on Ladder 2 with fire showing from the front of a row of 2 story, flat tops. Wagon 3 secured a mid-block hydrant and crews stretched 2 lines making an aggressive attack on a fire that involved the entire first floor with extension above and into the B side exposure. Chief 5 requested the first alarm bringing Wagon 4, Truck 32, Rescue 69, and Air 13 to the scene. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in less than 10 minutes and extensive overhaul performed opening up and checking for extension. All occupants out prior to arrival of the fire department. Wagon 3 and Truck 2 cleared the scene at 0218 hours.
