3/16/23 - Lower Allen Township, PA - Letchworth Rd

At 0015 hours, Box 12-03 sent Engine Companies 12, 13, 10, 68, Trucks 12, 14, and Rescue 30 to the area of 1306 Chatham Road in Lower Allen Township for a house fire. PD on scene reporting a corrected address of 1388 Letchworth Road and advised of a rear porch fire that extended to the house. The box was upgraded at 0019 hours adding Engine Companies 37, 24, Truck 69, Rescue 14, RIT 20, and Air 13 to the scene. Squad 12 arrived reporting a working fire in a single family home and they were stretching a line. Engine 68-1 grabbed Squad 12’s hydrant for a positive water source. Crews were able to knock the bulk of the fire down in less than 5 minutes and companies had to open up areas near the roof line for hot spots and to check for extension.
