2/4/23 - Silver Spring Township, PA - Liberty Ct

At 1351 hours, Cumberland County Box 31-11 tones alerted Engine Companies 31, 33, 29, 37, 30, Trucks 30, 29, Squad 12, and RIT 25 to 300 Liberty Court for an apartment fire. Before any additional info, could be relayed to responding companies, Silver Spring Chief 3-31 advised of fire on side D and requested the working fire dispatch. Heavy fire was showing from the rear of a 2 story, end of the row townhouse, possibly extending into the attached exposure. Engines 38, 29, Truck 45, Rescue 69, and Air 13 made up the working fire units. Engine 33 and Tanker 31 each secured hydrants and hand lines were stretched from both into the fire building and exposure. Engine 33 knocked down the heavy fire in the rear with the deck gun. Companies were able to get a good knock on the fire and had to chase hot spots in the attic of the fire building and exposure. The fire was placed under control in about 45 minutes and all occupants were able to evacuate safely.
