12/8/22 - Bronx, NY - Buckner Blvd

While other Bronx companies were beginning to wrap up a three-alarm fire involving 3 dwellings on Franklin Avenue, Bronx Box 2801 transmitted for fire in a multiple dwelling at 1805 Bruckner Blvd in Soundview at 1342 hours. Battalion 52 acting as Battalion 3 advised by Bronx dispatch that they were receiving reports of occupants trapped in Apartments 5E, 2E, and 6A and due to the quantity and quality of the calls received they were loading up the box. Tower Ladder 54 transmitted the 10-75 with a corrected address of 1791 Bruckner Blvd. Battalion 52 advised he was using all-hands for fire on the 2nd floor of a 7 story, 100x100, occupied multiple dwelling with clutter conditions. Engines 89, Ladders 50, 46 acting 41, and Ladder 32 were special called. 3 lines stretched and 1 operated. (2) 10-45 Code 4’s handed over to EMS. Fire placed under control at 1438 hours.
