12/23/21 - Swatara Township - Highspire Rd

At 1337 hours, Box 49-3 sent Swatara Fire Company 91, Highspire Engine 55, Paxtang Engine 40, and Progress Truck 32 to 1111 Highspire Rd for a possible structure fire. Chief 91-6 (Bradnick) went enroute and advise of a single caller reporting a house on fire with a cat still inside. Chief 91-6 arrived with smoke showing from a all side of a 2 story residential. The first alarm assignment was requested bringing Paxtonia Truck 34, Middletown Rescue 88, New Cumberland DLA Rescue 88, Lower Swatara Tanker 59, and Hershey Air 48 to the scene. Engine 91 arrived as the first due engine and laid a supply line from the hydrant and Highspire & Campground Roads to the front of the building and Bressler Engine 91-2 picked up their line. Truck 32 arrived and set up on side A. The crews from Engines 91, 91-2, and Truck 32 went to work on the initial operations. 2 lines were stretched for fire on the first floor with hoarding conditions and the bulk of the visible fire knocked down in less than 10 minutes. All occupants were reported to be out and searches negative.
