10/26/2021 - Harrisburg, PA - Muench St
Shortly after 0630 hours Box 1-3 sent Wagon 3, Squad 8, Tower 1, Truck 2, and Battalion Chief 6 (Bradford) to the 200 blk of Muench Street in the city’s Uptown for a structure fire with entrapment. Responding companies advised by the County of a caller on the phone who cannot get out and advised of possibly 2 other people who are unable to escape as well. Truck 2 arrived with smoke showing from a 2 story duplex. Chief 6 requested that Wagon 4 be sent to the scene and shortly followed with the first alarm assignment bringing Truck 32, Rescue 69, Air 13, and Chiefs 1, 3 to the scene. Wagon 3 members stretched an attack line and Truck 2 crew prepared to search. One occupant was located on the second floor, administered oxygen until they were able to be removed via the front door, and handed over to EMS. Interior crews reported a basement fire. The fire was quickly knocked using 2 handlines with no extension to the first floor. All searches were negative and the fire displaced 3 adults.
