6/24/20 - Harrisburg, PA - Zarker St

Box 1-4 sent companies to 1605 Zarker Street in the Allison Hill neighborhood for a structure fire, reported to be smoke from the third floor. Squad 8, Wagon 4, Tower 1, Truck 2, and Battalion Chief 7 (Bastinelli) made up the initial box assignment. Chief 7 arrived with a 2.5 story, ordinary, middle of the row, with heavy smoke showing from the top floor, and requested the first alarm assignment. Wagon 3, Rescue 69, and Air 13 were dispatched to the scene. An attack line was stretched from the Squad and advanced where members made a quick knock down of the fire and companies started to open up. The fire was contained to the top floor with no extension to the exposure. All searches were negative.
