2/3/20 - Harrisburg, PA - Maclay St
Box 1-3 sent Wagon 3, Squad 8, Tower 1, Truck 2, and Battalion Chief 7 (Bastinelli) to Green and Maclay Streets in the Uptown neighborhood for a building fire. Companies responding to the 2001 hours alarm were notified PD had smoke in the area. Truck 2 arrived with a 2 story, duplex, with fire in the rear. A 200’ hand line was stretched to the rear for fire attack. Chief 7 reported a 1 story, garage well off in the rear and companies were getting water on it. 2 lines were stretched and operated. The fire exposed on unattached structures, including The Maclay Street Supermarket on the B side. Companies opened up that building where signs of fire were negative. The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes.
