8/18/19 - Harrisburg, PA - Paxton St
After a short but strong thunderstorm passed through the capital city, Box 1-5 sent Squad 8, Wagon 4, Tower 1, Truck 2, and Chief 7 (Bastinelli) to 1623 Paxton Street for a structure fire. Reports were that a house was struck by lightning with fire on the 3rd floor and residents evacuating. Squad 8 arrived to the 2128 hours alarm and reported light smoke showing. 1 line was stretched from the Squad to the 3rd floor. Chief 7 assumed command and reported a 2 story, ordinary, duplex with fire in the peak of the third floor at 1626 Paxton Street. Wagon 4 stretched a second line into the exposure at 1628. Chief 7 special called Wagon 3 to the scene for RIT. 2 lines were used to extinguish a fire in the dormers of the third floor in both dwellings. One occupant
