7/4/19 - West Hanover Township, PA - Linglestown Rd

At 1356 hours, Company 36 and Truck 34 were dispatched on Box 36-7 to 7930 Linglestown Road at the Econo Lodge for an automatic fire alarm. The alarm company reported a possible fire in the building and reports of smoke from the building prompted the box be upgraded while companies were enroute. Engines 35, 39, Rescue 36-1, Tankers 47, 329, Truck 35 filled out the box at 1359 hours. Truck 34 arrived with light smoke showing from the roof line near the lobby. The first alarm was requested for manpower, and Rescue 33 special called for manpower, as temperatures neared the 90 degree mark. Companies had fire running the walls on the first floor to the attic area around the lobby. Multiple lines stretched and quickly knocked down the fire which was contained to the area of origin. All occupants were safely evacuated.
