3/11/18 - Lower Allen Township, PA - St John's Rd

At 1815 hours, Box 12-05 sent Engine Companies 12 (Lower Allen), 37 (Naval Support Activity), 24 (Lisburn), Truck 12, Rescue 12 (Lower Allen), Rescue 30 (Hampden Township) to 1130 St. John's Rd for a house fire. Chief 12 advised while enroute that PD was on scene with a large farmhouse with smoke showing. Chief 12 requested an additional engine to the box (Engine 22 - Shiremanstown). Companies arrived with fire on the second floor of a single family dwelling. With possible extension into the attic space Command requested a second alarm bringing Engine Companies 30 (Hampden), 14 (Camp Hill), 28 (Mechanicsburg), Truck 23 (Upper Allen), Rescue 27 (Mechanicsburg), RIT 69 (Defense Logistics New Cumberland), Squad 8 (Harrisburg), and Air 13 (West Shore). 2 lines were stretched knocking the bulk of the fire down in less than 10 minutes. Minor extension into the attic area over the fire room.
