Box 1-3 sent Wagon 3, Tower 2, and Squad 8 to Route 322 eastbound on the ramp to Interstate 81 southbound for an accident with entrapment. Wagon 3 and Tower 2 arrived with a tanker truck rolled over with confirmed entrapment. City crews worked for an extended period of time to extricate the driver who was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. Companies were out for over 3 hours. While this incident was going on, another accident was reported on Route 322 east prior to the ramp involving a motorcycle. That accident ended with the fatality of the motorcyclist.
