11/5/18 - Harrisburg - S. 15th St
Box 1-4 sent Squad 8, Wagon 4, Tower 1, Truck 2, and Battalion Chief 5 (Lloyd) to 330 S. 15th Street for a reported structure fire. Units responding to the 0351 hours alarm were advised of smoke on the first floor and everyone to be out of the structure. Squad 8 arrived on location with a working fire on the first floor and stretched from a hydrant at S. 15th and Reese Streets. Chief 5 assumed incident command and reported a row of 2.5 story, wood frame, dwellings with fire involving the end home of the row. The first alarm was requested at 0358 bringing Wagon 3, Rescue 69, Air 69, and Chiefs 1 (Enterline), 2 (Souder). A line was stretched from the Squad to knock down a fire involving the walls on the first floor and a second line was used to check for extension to the second floor. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes and the fire placed under control in about 45 minutes. 4 adults were left homeless in the fire.
