At 1602 hours, Box 30-04 sent Engine Companies 30, 37, 14, Truck 30, Rescue 30, Squad 23 (RIT) next to 58 S. 36th Street for a house fire. Multiple calls were being received and PD in the area with a column. Engine 22 on location with a working fire. Heavy fire was issuing from side C of a 1.5 story, single family, dwelling. Command 30 requested a second alarm at 1616 hours bringing Engine Companies 12, 31, Truck 12, Rescue 27, Rescue 40 (RIT), Air 13, and Rehab 100 to the scene. 3 lines were stretched and operated. A line was also stretched to the D side exposure where siding caught fire on a dwelling. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in about 15 minutes and extensive overhaul required to mop up hot spots.
