At 2253 hours, Box 32-4 sent Company 32 (Progress), Engines 31 (Edgemont), 33 (Colonial Park), 30 (Penbrook), Truck 34 (Paxtonia), and Rescues 37 (Rescue), 44 (Lawnton) to Brittany Blvd near Elmerton Ave for a house on fire. Engine 32-1 enroute with 5 advised that the caller reported the house on fire with people still inside. PD on location with a working fire. Chief 32-2 assumed command with smoke showing from a 2 story, single family, dwelling. A line was stretched and quickly knocked down a bedroom fire on the second floor with some extension to the attic. All searches negative and control marked in 20 minutes. 5 people were displaced in the fire.
