At 2318 hours, Box 30-08 sent Engine Company 30, 31, Squad 20, Engine 1-28, Truck 30, Rescue 30, Squad 31, 33 (RIT), and Tanker 31 to across from 719 Owl Court for a house fire. Duty Chief 30 arrived on scene with a 2 story residential with fire thru the roof in the 5900 block of Eberly Drive.. Due to limited hydrant access Tankers 20 and 31 were added to the box. Fire arriving companies stretched lines knocking down some of the fire form the exterior before making an interior attack. The fire building was a 2 story, unoccupied, dwelling with fire in the attic that dropped down into the second floor. Command 30 evacuated the structure and went to exterior lines before companies re-entered to hit the hot spots. The fire was placed under control in about an hour.
