10-19-16 - Harrisburg, PA - Geary St
At 0551 hours, Box 1-3 sent Wagon 3, Squad 8, Towers 1, 2, and Captain 6 (Feldman) to the 600 block of Geary Street for a reported working structure fire. Calls reported an abandoned building at the corner of Geary & Agate Streets with smoke and flames visible. Tower 2 arrived on location with a 3 story, brick, row of 8 with fire showing 3rd floor, end of the row, vacant, dwelling. Captain 6 requested the first alarm at 0558 hours bringing Wagon 4, Rescue 69, and Air 13 to the scene. Companies stretched a line into the fire building and the exposure at 619 Geary Street. Holes in the 3rd floor hampered access to side A. The bulk of the fire was knocked down in 10 minutes with extensive overhaul.
