5/19/13 - Swatara Township, PA - Penn St

At 1330 hours Box 41-1 dispatched a reported structure fire with multiple calls at 692 Penn Street in the Bressler neighborhood of Swatara Township. Engine 41 (Bressler) arrived on location with fire showing from sides A & B with the lone occupant out of the structure. Engine 41's crews stretched a handline to the front door and quickly knocked down the main bulk of the fire with tank water. Engine 49 (Swatara Township) stretched a supply into Engine 41. Truck 50's crew set up ground ladders and provided ventilation. All other units on the box assisted with manpower. The fire was attributed to unattended cooking.
