2/18/12 - Lower Swatara Township, PA - Oberlin Rd

Around 0345 hours Box 59-3 sent companies to 850 Oberlin Road in Lower Swatara Township for a structure fire. Incoming companies were familiar with this location as they battled a first alarm fire there on February 16, 2012. Engine 59 (Lower Swatara) arrived to a working fire in a 1.5 story dwelling going throughout. No hydrants in the area created water supply issues and 4 additional tankers were requested above the first alarm. Exterior operations using hand lines and Truck 88's (Middletown) master stream knocked down the bulk of the fire which destroyed the dwelling.
