Shortly before 2000 hours Box 1-5 sent companies to 1400 S. 15th Street "Harrisburg Park Apartments" for a reported fire in an apartment. Companies on location with an occupied, 3-story, garden apartments with smoke in an apartment on the second floor. A line was stretched quickly knocking down a kitchen fire. Primary searches were negative. Units were out for about an hour. Battalion Chief 5 (Horst) had command.
