5/28/11 - Susquehanna Township - Cloverfield Road

Around 1525 hours the 32 Box went out for a reported structure fire at 3604 Cloverfield Road in the Progress section of Susquehanna Township. Reports from the occupants advised they had smoke in the attic and were evacuating. Engine 32-1 (Progress) arrived on location with heavy smoke showing from a 2 story, private, dwelling. A line was quickly stretched and a the roof opened as heavy smoke issued from the roof and eaves. Command 32 requested a first alarm assignment. Companies were able to expose the fire and put a good knock preventing further extension.
