3/1/11 - Harrisburg - N. 18th Street
Around 2115 hours Box 1-2 companies dispatched to the area of 706 N. 18th Street for a reported structure fire. Additional info advised of multiple calls for the address across the street from 706. Chief 4 (Berger) reported a 2 story dwelling with heavy fire showing from side D. While making the intitial attack Chief 4 requested the first alarm. 2 lines were stretched into the fire building at 707 N. 18th Street and one line into the B exposure. The fire was knocked down with limited fire extension but companies spent exhausting overhaul opening up. The fire occurred around the corner from a February 3 first alarm on North Street.
