11/16/11 - East Pennsboro Township - State St

East Pennsboro companies dispatched to 424 State Street at 1125 hours for a reported basement fire. Chief 5 on location with smoke showing from an occupied, 2.5 story, semi-attached, dwelling. Engine 16 (West Fairview) arrived and laid a line from Enola Road and State Street. A handline was stretched making a quick knock on the fire. The fire was placed under control in 10 minutes and units remained on the scene for a little overhaul.
