11/21/10 - Royalton Borough - Canal Street

At 1655 hours Box 88-4 sent companies to 208 Canal Street in Royalton for a kitchen fire. County Fire advised from caller reports that smoke was visible. Chief 88-1 arrived with a working fire in a 2 story, multi-family, structure. Engine 88 (Middletown) laid in from Burd and Canal Streets and took side A. Truck 88 also took position on side A and went to the roof.A handline was stretched through the front door quickly knocking down a well involved kitchen fire. Crews found no extension and control was marked in about 10 minutes.
