Box 1-4 sent A platoon companies to 2006 Manada Street for a reported kitchen fire around 2130 hours. Chief 7 (Horst) arrived on location with smoke showing from a 2 story, frame dwelling. A line was stretched from the Squadand quickly knocked a small fire in the kitchen. Units remained on the scene for about 30 minutes.
