5/2/08 - Lower Allen Township - Oxford Circle

At 0020 hours Cumberland County Fire Headquarters dispatched Box 12-8 for an apartment fire in the area of 5337 Oxford Circle. Responding units were advised of several calls and a working fire. Heavy fire was showing on arrival from a 2 story, middle of the row, town home. Despite an aggressive initial attack the fire reached the common loft and extended to the exposures. A second alarm was struck as companies went to ground streams and the bucket of Truck 12 to keep the fire from progressing. Companies remained on the scene for several hours at the fire which affected several apartments.
