5/13/07 - Harrisburg - Wiconisco St
All Harrisburg City companies went to work this morning at 612 Wiconisco Street when a first floor fire threatened a row of 3 story, frame, dwellings. Wagon 3, Squad 8, Towers 1, 2, and Chief 6 (Berger) responded on Box 1-3 and had a smoke condition in the street on arrival. 2 lines were stretched and interior crews made a good knock on the bulk of fire. With smoke showing from the row and fire traveling the void spaces Chief 6 requested the 2nd alarm. Wagon 4, Tower 3, Rescue 69, and Chiefs 1,2,3 all responded while county mutual aid stood by at Stations 1 and 2. A platoon crews made an excellent stop on the fire preventing further extension.
