Shortly before 0600 hours Wagon 4, Squad 8, Towers 1,3, and Chief 7 (Horst) took in Box 1-2 at 201 Meadow Lane at the Mulberry Station apartments for a structure fire. Tower 3 had heavy smoke upon leaving the station and companies had fire on the 4th floor of an occupied, 4 story, apartment building. 2 lines were stretched and “A” platoon crews made a great stop on the fire spread. A full first alarm was struck as the fire had potential to reach the common loft. The fire was placed under control in about 20 minutes.
