Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Derry Township - Granada Building Around 0325 hours the 48 Box sent Company 48 (Hershey), Engine 46, and Truck 46 (Hummelstown) to 13 Granada Building in the Briarwood apartment complex for a structure fire. Reports of an unaccounted occupant were quickly nullified as PD confirmed all occupants were out. Captain 48 signed on as responding and received the info from County Dispatch of multiple calls. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 - Upper Allen Township - Beacon Circle Shortly before 1400 hours, Box 23-04 sent companies from Upper Allen, Mechanicsburg, and Monroe Township to 2112 Beacon Circle for a house fire. Chief 23 had a 2 story, unoccupied, single-family, dwelling with fire on the second floor rear. A handline was stretched knocking down the bulk of the fire quickly limiting extension. Monday, January 20, 2012 - Mount Joy Township - Schwanger Rd Around 0345 hours western Lancaster County companies dispatched to 990 Schwanger Road in Mount Joy Township for a dwelling fire. PD on location reporting a working fire with occupants still possible inside. Engine 701 (Rheems) arrived and reported heavy fire from the garage attached to a 2 story, single-family, dwelling. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 - Middle Paxton Township - Gap View Road Around 0720 hours Box 38-4 sent companies to 1241 Gap View Road at the "Aces Inn" for a structure fire. Assistant Chief 29 was on location with smoke showing from all sides of a commercial building with an unoccupied vehicle out front. Chief 38 arrived and requested the working fire dispatch. Duncannon Rescue 2 arrived and set up a port-a-pond, Progress Truck 32 took side A for ventilation, and Dauphin Engine 38 laid 5 inch to side A.....(More)

Monday, January 16, 2012 - Shippensburg Borough - E. Garfield St Shippensburg area fire companies battled an apartment fire this morning that heavily damaged the structure and left several people homeless. Shortly before 0130 hours units were dispatched to 130 E. Garfield Street for a house fire with entrapment. First arriving companies had heavy fire on the 1st floor of a 2.5, brick, apartment building. A second alarm was requested. Multiple Hand lines were stretched into the building.....(More)

Saturday, January 14, 2012 - Monroe Township - W. Lisburn Rd Around 0420 hours units from Cumberland County Stations 23, 25, 27, and 28 responded to a house fire at 1284 W. Lisburn Road in Monroe Township. Reports indicated a garage fire attached to the house. A medic was added due to reports of entrapment. Chief 25 on location with a working fire. A line was stretched from Engine 25 (Monroe) quickly knocking down a fire in the garage, attached to 2 story, single-family, dwelling. All occupants were able to escape the home safely.

Monday, January 2, 2012 - South Middleton Township - York Rd Around 1345 hours Box 1-41-01 sent Carlisle area companies to 108 York Road (WIOO Radio) in South Middeleton Township for a basement fire. Engine 2-41 (Union-Carlisle) arrived with a working fire in an unoccupied, 2.5 story, wood frame, dwelling that housed a radio station. Friday, December 30, 2011 - Harrisburg City  - N. 5th Street Box 1-3 companies dispatched to 2524 N. Fifth Street for a structure fire around 0416 hours. Uptown companies Wagon 3 and Tower 2 pulled up with a working fire in an occupied, 2.5 story, brick duplex. Chief 5 (Horst) went on location, had heavy fire on the second floor rear, and requested the first alarm assignment.
