Saturday, January 17, 2009 - Highspire Borough - 542 Eshelman Street
Dauphin Box 55-1 sent companies to 542 Eshelman Street in Highspire for an odor of smoke in the structure around 1720 hours. First arriving units had a kitchen fire in a 2.5 story, occupied, duplex and advanced a line. The fire was quickly extinguished but was able to run the walls between the dwellings. Additional companies were requested to assist with extensive overhaul operations. One occupant transported with smoke inhalation.
