Sunday, February 24, 2008 - Lower Paxton Twp - Eastman Drive
Companies from 32 (Progress), 33 (Colonial Park), 34 (Paxtonia), 35 (Linglestown), and 40 (Paxtang), and 44 (Lawnton) responded to 4900 block of Eastman Drive for a reported building fire with possible entrapment. Chief 33 (Shields) on location with heavy fire showing from a 2 story, end of the row, town home. Companies went in service with an aggressive attack on the fire and for possible trapped occupants. Companies were forced to evacuate the structure as heavy fire consumed the fire building and extended to the exposures via the common loft. Exterior streams knocked down the bulk of the fire and companies remained on the scene for extended overhaul.
