Metro Harrisburg Fire Photos 2008

Saturday, September 13, 2008 - Swatara Township - Chambers Hill Rd

Dauphin Box 49-1 toned around 1830 hours for a reported auto accident at Chambers Hill Road and Eisenhower Boulevard. With township companies operating a fire alarm on Paxton Street, Engine 41 (Bressler) was released to respond to the accident. Rescue 50 (Steelton) was added upon reports of entrapment. Engine 41 arrived to a 2 vehicle accident involving a car and minivan. One occupant suffered fatal injuries and 4 people were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Companies remained on the scene for several hours as the accident was being investigated. Companies on location: Engine 41 (Bressler), 44 (Lawnton), 49 (Swatara Twp), Rescue 44 (Lawnton), 49 (Swatara Twp), 50 (Steelton), and Squad 45 (Rutherford).
