Metro Harrisburg Fire Photos 2006
Wednesday, December 27, 2006 - Mechanicsburg Borough - W. Green St
Co's 37 (US Navy), 27 (Citizens), and 28 (Washies) and York Co. Rescue 69 (RIT) dispatched to a house fire at W. Green St and N. Railroad Ave around 0430 hours in the Borough of Mechanicsburg. PD on location with fire visible. Command 8 had heavy fire to the rear of an occupied, 2.5 story, frame duplex. Attack lines kept the fire to the rear of both sides of the duplex and melted siding on a side 4 exposure. Engine companies 23 (Upper Allen) and 30 (Hampden) were dispatched for manpower. The duplex was also the site of a previous fire.
